A brew helper with a ratio calculator and a method-specific brewing timer — now on iPhone and iPad. Made by Jordan Matthiass.
Calculator: Choose your brewing method, then adjust the coffee weight, water weight, or ratio. Edit any two values and the third calculates automatically.
Timer: Start brewing and the app tracks elapsed time, highlights the current step, and previews the next step with a countdown. During each pour, it shows the scale reading to pour up to, based on your water amount — for example, “Pour to 120g.”
iPad: Runs natively in every orientation and in Split View, Slide Over, and Stage Manager. On iPad, and on larger iPhones in landscape, the full step list sits beside the calculator with start times, total brew time, and live progress. With a keyboard, press Space to start or pause and ⌘R to reset a paused brew.
On the Lock Screen: A Live Activity follows your brew on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a step-by-step progress bar that shows the scale reading for every pour. Pause and resume right from the Lock Screen or the expanded Dynamic Island. When your brew is done, it shows your total brew time. Leave the app and a notification lets you know the moment your brew is ready.

Can I use the calculator without the timer?
Yes. The calculator works on its own for quick ratio math any time.
No accounts, no analytics, no network requests. The app runs entirely on your device and works completely offline.
