This policy covers Simple Coffee Timer on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Last updated October 18, 2026.
I don’t collect any of your data. There’s no account, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking, and the app makes no network requests. Everything stays on your device.
Your brewing method, coffee and water amounts, ratio, and the state of a running brew are stored on your device so the app can pick up where you left off. The app also counts finished brews on your device, to ask for a review now and then. None of this leaves your device.
If you allow notifications, the app shows your brew in a notification and on the Lock Screen (a Live Activity on iPhone, a notification and Live Update on Android) and lets you know when your brew is ready. These are created on your device; no notification goes through a server.
On iPhone and iPad, the app’s settings are part of your device backup, managed by your Apple Account settings. On Android, your settings and calculator values are included in Android’s automatic backup to your own Google account, which you can turn off in Android’s settings; a running brew is not included. I can’t see either backup.
After a few finished brews, the app may ask the App Store or Google Play to show its standard review prompt. Apple and Google decide whether it appears, and their own privacy policies apply.
The app doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date above.
